Medivet 24 Hour Birstall - Temporarily Closed

Not happy at all, we are not renewing our yearly plan again. Everytime we call to request our pet's flea and worm treatment we have issues. We receive reminders and then call and they don't have the medication available but are also not able to give us alternatives. We receive mixed information everytime we call and it is really difficult to get an appointment outside normal people working hours.

staff were really lovely and informative. Friendly and welcoming all round. Veterinarian was also patient and caring- nice difference to the Uppingham Road branch who had a locum in (my cat died not long after he saw her) . All in all good practice would recommend.

Our dog is still under the care of Medivet. I have to say so far I have no complaints. The vets, nurses and reception staff have been very understanding and giving me the time to talk to them. The whole experience has been very upsetting since our dog has been very unwell, but I/we have been thankful for you all. Theresa and Libby have given me lots of their precious time and the nurses are second to none, we thank you all.

Our cat was transferred from fosse park to medivets for treatment, unfortunately we didn’t get the outcome we wanted and our furbaby went over the rainbow bridge, what can I say… the staff were fantastic, the nurse Rachel I believe let us sit with him for an hour letting us say goodbye, they vet was compassionate and again told us to take our time making a very upsetting time a little easier. Receptionist again was lovely, I just wish we had the same treatment from our previous vets in Glenfield with our dog, so from the bottom of our hearts as a family we thank you.

I called last night at 9pm because my cat doesn't feel well. Straight away I make a booking and I was there. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They told me about the cost, obviously expensive but I know like this is everywhere. Today I pick my cat up from vet and she seems to be much better than yesterday. Not 100% but I can see she s much better. Thank u for taking care of my cat.

Easy to book appointment, staff friendly been using this vets for years. Recommended.
