Services we offer

With our 15-minute consultations, you have enough time to ask our expert vets any - and every - question you might have regarding your pet’s health and lifestyle.

Our 24 hour practices and external out-of-hours providers offer exceptional, around-the-clock intensive care to critically ill pets.

Your local Medivet practice will be able to issue an Animal Health Certificate for EU travel.

Our Computed Tomography (CT) technology allows us to create detailed 3D images of your pet to help diagnoses and create effective treatment plans.

Caring for all aspects of your pet’s oral health is easy with our excellent dental facilities.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, non-invasive test used to detect certain defects in your pet’s heart.

Using a tiny, flexible camera, we’re able to view internal body parts with little surgical intervention.

We know that sometimes it just isn’t possible for you or your pet to travel into one of our practices to receive care. At times like this, our capable and compassionate veterinary teams often offer at home visits.

We use cutting-edge laser technology in our soft-tissue surgeries to ensure your pet achieves the best results.

We use cutting-edge Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to help us diagnose a range of problems.

A pet ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique used to view your pet's internal organs and identify potential issues.

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet.

Alan saved our dogs life. Our regular vet wanted Pierre put down straight away. Then vet said I will give you two days then you will have to bring back to have him put to sleep trying to force us to have her put him to sleep. He is only two years of age. Another vet referred us to Alan.He told us he was 99.9 sure he could get Pierre back onto his feet Pierre was double incontinent and couldn't use his back legs.He had a burst disc in his spine. We left Pierre in Alan's hands. His staff are wonderful. Alan was true to his word.Pierre is walking.Has control over his bowels and bladder.Alan is a neurologist vet he knows all about IVDD.We drove 64 miles to get Pierre to Nantwich, well worth the drive. I find it shocking how we were treated.... . everyone is so warm, kind and welcoming. Our previous vets were a nightmare. ,,🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟treatment is what you will receive when Alan treats your Dog. Highly recommended.

I was in recently to see vet Jennah. She was compassionate, caring and really understanding when she was taking care of Jimmy when he was unwell. She really made a difference for him. Thanks for all your care!

We had a terrible experience with the vet Jenna Swidells. The vets are critically understaffed (as admitted by the vet herself) - paying £500 a night to be talked down to in such a condescending and arrogant manner is disgusting and disrespectful. She refused visitation of a very poorly and loved family dog. Saying that they were too busy to put aside just 10 minutes. Ignoring that it would brighten his day and telling us that we’re not “vets” so we aren’t qualified to have an opinion. The arrogance was shocking. Worse, she openly admitted that they run on a skeleton staff so it was impossible to facilitate even a 10 minute visit. If you hospitalise your pet, don’t expect to be able to visit them and be ready to be talked down to in an arrogant and condescending way. Worse, as we were discussing this with her she emotionally blackmailed us with visiting time with our dog. Telling us the more we discuss this matter the less time we would have with our dog!

I can not recommend this vets enough .. I live in Leeds I’ve had a terrible experience with a number of vets in Leeds and this vets was recommended to me by a friend .. From the original contact right through to my heartbreaking end these vets have been amazing .. The help and support has been the best I’ve ever had been a dog owner .. my boy got to stay with me for 6 months longer and these vets went above and beyond to try and find medication to save my dog .. I will be forever grateful .. I chose this vets to say goodbye to my best friend and the support and care has been amazing . It’s nice to find vets who care for animals and are not all about money . Thank you from the bottom of my heart .

Not my regulat vets but had to use them as an emergency to have one of my beloved cats put to sleep. They were amazingly compassionate and made a very difficult time easier due to the way they treated me and cared for me (and my beautiful Lawrence) as I was distraught. Can't rate them highly enough. Fantastic service. Thankyou x
