Medivet Acton

This veterinary practice is staffed by very proficient, knowledgeable and above all friendly and helpful staff. I have recommended this practice to many friends and family members.

I want to share my experience with Medivet Acton. My dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur and will need to take three medications for the rest of his life. In the first month, I bought the medicines from them and paid £202 for just 30 days, while these three medications, the exact quantity on the petdrugsonline website, cost £54. I was shocked by the percentage of profit they make on this. I contacted them the following month and requested the prescription, which cost £53 for only three months. They refused to prescribe the medications for six months, considering my dog will need to take them for the rest of his life. They only want to profit and don't care about your dog's health. I requested a refund for the prescription and will try my luck with another vet.

This clinic needs to be reported to the competent authorities for overcharging clients.

I was able to make a quick in person appointment as I live very close to the surgery. Upon arriving I was told by the Sasha, the receptionist that there’s was a delay as Vesi the vet was dealing with an emergency. I said that was fine. I must say some of the negative reviews on here I’ve never experienced and have been a customer at this practice for over 20 years

Love going there my Snow has started going in very frequently saying hello she get lots of treats and attention. They are all amazing and professional Dr’s and Nurses and they really take care of you and your pet. We love our VET

Lovely team of staff. Friendly and welcoming. Very caring and attentive to my cats who felt very happy in the presence of this vet unlike my previous vet. Customer service here is great also. I highly recommend using Medi Vets.

My cat, a Maine Coon, had a tough beginning - he was incredibly nervous around people, disliked being touched and 7 years later still hates the sight of a brush. He has a heart murmur and during his latest scan we discovered he has bone spurs on his spine which answered my question of why he wasn't jumping onto the bed like he used to. We now do monthly injections to ease any pain he may have. The team at Acton Lane Veterinary Surgery are absolutely amazing and incredibly kind - the vet is so gorgeous with my cat - she strokes him and talks to him like he is her cat while giving him his medication, which i love!
