Quick to get an appt the day I phoned up for my cat. Location and parking are convenient, however The staff were very impersonal, lacking motivation and customer service, not very talkative and didn't do a very thorough job. Minimal tests and then told me it my cat continued being poorly to go elsewhere. I've been coming to this vet since I moved to Cheltenham 4 years ago but will not be going back, instead I'll find somewhere that actually wants to help my cat, and where the staff are friendly and approachable.

The welcome was very offhand, after which I was ignored, even though I was early for my appointment and so ended up waiting for about 15 minutes. The vet managed to give the cat her booster jab but couldn’t examine her. His suggestion was that they would sedate her before further appointments. My suggestion is that he takes advice from the lovely, very competent vet who (very sadly) left the practice last year - she was quite able to deal with my cat without drugging her. Only reason for two stars instead of one was the university student on placement. I had to work very hard, but eventually she unbent and we had a short but pleasant chat.

I found this vets very friendly and helpful. I have a rottweiler who does not like other dogs, they were so accommodating, arranging visits for when the vets is empty and I was made to feel comfortable and welcome regardless of the situation. My dog loves going here too.

I would appreciate some continuity, I rarely see the same vet twice and I do think, at the prices charged, the vets could have a quick glance at my cat's medical records before seeing him. I took my cat the vet with a painful jaw on the Friday, he was given pain killers and I was told that he needed extensive dental work. When I asked for an idea of the cost a laminated sheet was slide over the desk showing charges ranging from £350 to over £1500 but no indication of whereabout his treatment would be on this sliding scale. The following Monday, returning for a follow up appointment, I saw a different vet who told me he didn't need any dental work! The painkillers had worked so no further treatment was required. I only use Medivet as it is convenient and I do not have a car.

Excellent care. My pooch went through an injection without even realising. Lots of follow up information as travelling to Europe. Really helpful

All members of staff have been incredibly welcoming and really friendly. They explain everything thoroughly and clearly love animals. I'm glad we picked this practice for our two cats 😺😺

All of the staff at Medivet take great care of Indy. This was a routine visit and she was greeted by the vet nurse who came from behind reception for a quick cuddle with her and Alison the vet took the time to chat about and compliment Indy's temperament and clearly remembers her and my previous dog well, whilst she was running through her routine check and vaccination procedures.
