Veterinary Surgeon

Renato is a Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in small animal medicine. He has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine from the University of Liverpool. In his free time, Renato enjoys going for a walk around Folkestone's beaches and he is a fan of anything Marvel related.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Meg has been working in the veterinary profession for 10 years and has been qualified since 2021. She has been at the practice since 2021 and enjoys medical nursing and nurse consultations. At home she has a border collie called Kai and a small crossbreed called Rufus and two rescue cats called Simon and Worm.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi I’m Erin and I joined Medivet in 2020 as a Patient Care Assistant and began my training as a Student Veterinary Nurse in 2021, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2024. I am very passionate about patient care so you’ll usually find me in the wards taking care of the poorly animals. In my spare time I enjoy meeting up with friends and family and looking after my rescued pet fancy mice and taking my Rhodesian Ridgeback on long walks

Veterinary Care Assistant

I joined Medivet in 2022 after finishing my Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Animal Science at the University of Kent. I am originally from Scotland but moved to Kent in 2020 to further my studies. I hope to be enrolled onto the nurse training programme as my career goal is to become a Registered Vet Nurse. I have a special interest in rabbits and small furries.

Jade

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi I'm Jade, I recently qualified as a veterinary nurse after joining the veterinary industry way back in 2009. I have a blind Chow Chow, a chocolate Labrador, a Golden Retriever and two leopard tortoises. I am very passionate about working with wildlife, reptiles and caring for emergency and critical care patients. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and animals and love to travel! I’ve travelled to 30 countries and counting and spent two summers working at an animal welfare shelter in Greece.

Client Care Assistant

I work at our Dover and Whitfield surgeries and can most often be found cuddling visiting puppies in the reception area - a 'job' over which I claims full ownership. I enjoy client care and keeping nervous patients relaxed. I'm involved in the training of new receptionists.

Client Care Assistant

I joined the team in October 2017 and work part-time at the Folkestone, Whitfield and Walmer branches. I've lived in Dover all my life and am a qualified hairdresser as well as being a busy mum of four girls. I enjoy shopping, spending time with friends and walking my dogs. I have a French bulldog and a Labrador, as well as a cat and parrot.

Leanne

Client Care Assistant

I joined the reception team after lots of years of working hands-on at a local kennels. Now happy to take a more hands-off approach, apart from occasional cuddles of course, I'm often busy furthering my veterinary knowledge. I primarily work at the Sandgate and Whitfield branches. Outside of work I enjoy living on a working farm and walking my border collie.

Client Care Assistant

I joined the team in 2016 and soon had the practice practicing their northern accents. With plenty of client care experience I comfort and care for our clients during the good times and the more difficult times.

Leonie

Practice Manager

Leonie has been working in the Veterinary Industry since 2008 and has been a Qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2015. She has worked in general practices and referral practices. Leonie has qualifications in Emergency and Critical Care, Mental Health First Aid, Dentistry, Laser Therapy and is a Pet Bereavement Counsellor. She has been a Head Nurse for 7 years.
