Mixed feelings about this place. The vet I came in contact with himself is fine, he answered all questions and took care of my cat well. I called one day asking a general question to the receptionist (thinking she would check with the vet) instead she spent our call googling answers and humming when she didn't have an answer to a query. It was the weirdest phone call of my life... The surgery is old, outdated and needs a good cleaning.

Where do I even start - these people shouldn't be vets at all. Below are just some of the endless conditions these people said my dog had which all turned out to be nothing. All these issues came about within weeks of eachother. I was desperate for a 2nd opinion and visited the supervet from TV who was absolutely confused and ruled out every issue within 15minutes: A lump was growing - I paid for a biopsy, the results were "inconclusive" but these people said its more than likely cancer. I paid £4k to have the lump removed. The lump was tested and confirmed as non cancerous. It returned within a year, my new vet determined it was an infected ingrown hair and did the exact same operation for £200 and the lump has now never returned. Heart condition - my dog apparently had a heart condition so couldn't be put under anesthetic to remove the lump as he may not wake up from the operation. So to remove the lump, they suggested an injection that makes my dogs skin fall off to the flesh so the lump can be removed. They made me pay for a costly specialist Heart scan that turned out to be nothing wrong with his heart. My dog was limping for a few weeks - they told me my dog had double elbow dysplasia and needed both front paws operated on asap before it gets worse and my dog gets in severe pain. They use a 3rd party vet for these surgeries who then harassed me to try and book in their £5k operation. My 2nd opinion literally moved around my dogs paws for 30 seconds and determined my dog just sprained his paws running. My dog got better on his own after 2 weeks and these people wanted to operate on him for no reason and had this other company pressure sell me an operation that wasn't needed. In general when my dog had to visit this place, they'll say bring him 8am so he can be seen. But then dont actually see him until late afternoon - what is the point in having my pet locked in a cage all day for no reason. One time he was in the cage for so long he got burns on his belly which the vet said was likely due to the strong detergent they use to clean the bedding. All in all a woeful place and best avoid. With all the misdiagnosed nonsense - my pet insurance is sky high and my dogs medical history is just riddled with a heap of unnecessary conditions that prevent me from moving insurer as these non issues can now be considered as pre existing conditions if my dog just happens to get one of these countless misdiagnosed issues in old age.

I have been with medivet for a few years, this is the second time my cat Caesar has seen Dr. Bayo Soboyejo and he is without a doubt one of my favourite vets I've ever come across in the 8 years of having pets. He is so kind and gentle, great with Caesar, and explains things clearly.

Excellent care and service. Bio, the vet took time and great care to explain how to manage our cat’s treatment plan when she developed diabetes. The staff are very kind and were extremely helpful advising how to manage our cat’s chronic condition. Very grateful for all your kindness and help, thank you!

A very friendly atmosphere every time I take my dog to see the vet. Always ready to advise me about medication for my boy.

I recently visited Medivet for the first time to have my cat neutered, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the first contact I had with the clinic , the receptionist was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. The vet was extremely thorough in explaining the entire procedure, including the potential risks, ensuring that we were fully informed and comfortable with the process. Their professionalism and genuine care for my pet were evident throughout the visit. The procedure itself went smoothly, and the aftercare instructions were clearly explained, making me feel confident in my ability to care for my cat post-surgery. I truly appreciate the level of attention and compassion shown by the entire team. I highly recommend Medivet to any pet owner looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and professional veterinary team. I will definitely be returning future visits.

If i could give a 0 i would but its not possible. Horribly rude and scammed my older father out of £300+ for blood-work for our little pup and gave us no information on the results. I called to try and resolve this and he laughed in my face and told me that if I want to speak to him any longer I would need to pay for an appointment!!! Disgusting, cruel, rude, unprofessional and a thief and scammer.

First of all, the receptionist and nurses are absolutely lovely and welcoming. However the Vet named Bayo was not really as pleasant with the my cat and neither was his attitude towards his actual role in the clinic. He wrongly diagnosed my cat with other symptoms that when I took my cat to another vet, they instantly knew what was wrong and gave him and correct medication for the cure. Unfortunately Bayo came across as it’s just another day in the workshop. No care towards the actual pet nor any concern towards making me feel like he knew what he was talking about. I was told by Bayo that it could be his food, spraying perfume or air freshener in the house which had nothing to do with what my cat is suffering from. Very disappointing and left frustrated by his handling and his attitude. Been going to this veterinary for the last 10 months and was very happy with the team prior to Bayo arriving. Bring Tomas back !!
