Great veterinary surgery with caring vets, it has changed over the years and is now part of Medivet, which has affected the prices of certain things but what prices haven’t gone up in general, all I can say is that I will continue to use the Bournes Green practice, we also have been to the Danbury practice as Mr Kruger is the bulldog vet , amazing people vets, a big thank you from us xx

Medivet are absolutely incredible!! My big bordernese, Rosa, was terrified of her previous vet after an unpleasant experience at her former practice. Each time she visited there she had to be sedated and muzzled which made the whole experience even more stressful. Thankfully, after reading so much positive glowing review on Medivet, I took a chance and started again. Oh my goodness, I cannot even begin to explain what wonderful, friendly, patient people work at Medivet. From the wonderful and welcoming reception team to patient and kind vets and nurses - there wasn't a single person in the surgery that wasn't understanding and kind with Rosa. They allowed her to come in before her appointment for "happy visits" before her consultation, during which she was spoilt rotten. We had our actual appointment today and Rosa was so relaxed she even got weighed, went into a consultation room, and let the vet listen to her heart. If you have an anxious dog, or have been thinking of changing vet for any reason, Medivet are the best people I have met in a very long time. They have gained a customer for life. Both Rosa and I are super thrilled. Thank you! ♡♡♡

I first saw the emergency vet last Saturday, as my dog appeared to be in pain after trying to jump up onto my bed. She administered an anti inflammatory injection for a suspected muscle pull. I then took him back on Monday to see Van, as he was still lethargic and hadn't poo'd, Van after a thorough examination, suspected a stomach problem, did a blood test and prescribed pain killers. My dog then started to eat well and poo'd on Wednesday. I took him back on Thursday as he still didn't seem right, during another thorough examination Van discovered it was his hip that was the source of the problem, he is currently on anti inflammatory medication however, may require an x-ray if the problem persists. This may seem a long winded review however, unlike other vets I have dealt with, Van is never rushed, asks lots of questions whilst examining the animal, then gives his opinion and the options available, allowing you to ask questions and decide the best course of action.
