Took my poorly cat to the vets yesterday evening. Raul, discussed all of the options and carried out various scans and investigations after his last appointment. He then talked through the results. He was very kind and thorough. I am always happy with the care and kindness shown to my pets by Medivets Wheatley. Thank you

My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Molly, has been cared for at Medivet, Wheatley for the past 3 years and I have generally been very satisfied with the care provided. Unfortunately there is no emergency cover at the weekends at this practice and so it is necessary to travel to the main practice near Oxford and for this reason I am awarding 4 rather than 5 stars.

Staff super friendly. Gave my cat treats and lots of gentle handling. Staff on the desk were super friendly and knew what they were doing. All in all an excellent visit. Thank you

My dog was misdiagnosed until the care of Raul from November 2024- February 2025. He misdiagnosed the type of anaemia she had, whilst failing to carry out a basic blood test that (that I later found out) would have confirmed the type of anaemia she had. Additionally, Raul told me she had 2 tumours which were inoperable! Again this is untrue. I have had the above confirmed by another vet and a specialist vet independently. My dog was under the care of Raul for 3 months, he put her on unnecessary immunosuppressant medications which caused her to become very unwell. Please please be very cautious when allowing this vet to diagnose your pet. My dog is now healthy and under excellent care not requiring any of the unnecessary medications prescribed here. I also saw some concerning practice, with vet nurses using their mouths to remove the needle when taking blood- again my dog was immunocompromised and this could lead to further bacteria being introduced. Avoid avoid!

Very happy with this practice. Friendly experienced vet who dealt well with an emergency. Fitted us in so our dog got immediate care. Much better seeing an experienced resident vet rather than someone straight out of veterinary college. Open all day on Saturday where most corporate owned practices are not anymore. Very helpful friendly reception staff. Good experience.
